Ann Koutsavlis, MPH, RD, CEDRD

Registered Dietitian

Ann Koutsavlis obtained her master’s degree in Public Health/Nutrition at University of Massachusetts Amherst. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Foods at West Virginia University, and completed her Dietetic Internship at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ann has worked as a RD in Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Colorado and has been working solely with eating disorder patients since 2015. Ann obtained certification through iaedp as a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian in 2018 and has been working as a Clinical Dietitian on the ACUTE unit since 2019. Throughout her time working in the eating disorder field, Ann has had the opportunity to work on research with her colleagues and has become published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals.

ACUTE Earns Prestigious Center of Excellence Designation from Anthem
In 2018, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition at Denver Health was honored by Anthem Health as a Center of Excellence for Medical Treatment of Severe and Extreme Eating Disorders. ACUTE is the first medical unit ever to achieve this designation in the field of eating disorders. It comes after a rigorous review process.
