Yes! ACUTE is not only for patients with low weight. You may still need medical stabilization at a normal or high weight, especially after rapid, significant weight loss.

I’m too sick to travel, how do I get to ACUTE?
We partner with air ambulance providers when needed to transport patients who are too ill to fly commercially or drive. Our admissions team will work with you to determine eligibility and arrange transfer. Contact admissions.
