Adults with Eating Disorders
Eating disorders aren’t something you can grow out of. While most programs primarily focus on adolescents or young adults, ACUTE is experienced in treating middle-aged and elderly adults too. Many of our patients have endured their condition for over 13 years and continue to struggle into adulthood.
Adults with Malnutrition
ACUTE also treats adults suffering from malnutrition caused by other conditions, such as chronic conditions or infections. Our team will assist with medical stabilization and refeeding, while also addressing the unique needs or limitations of your primary condition.
Supporting Adults Entering Treatment
Our social work team can help you navigate many of the concerns of entering treatment so you can focus on your health. They will offer guidance and help you apply for family and medical leave (FMLA) and provider letters documenting your presence in a hospital.
