Hermie Bizza, RN
Hermie Bizza, BSN, RN, serves as Associate Nursing Manager at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition. She began her career at ACUTE as a Staff Nurse and later advanced to Charge Nurse. Since 2020, she has been the Associate Nursing Manager, contributing to nursing leadership and team development within the program.
Hermie earned her Bachelor of Nutrition and Exercise Science from the University of Cincinnati and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Denver School of Nursing. Her academic background in nutrition, combined with her clinical nursing experience, informs her thoughtful and patient-centered approach to caring for individuals with severe eating disorders and malnutrition.
Hermie values the opportunity to support patients during some of the most critical moments in their recovery. She finds it deeply meaningful to be part of a team that provides both medical stabilization and compassionate, specialized care. She is motivated by witnessing patients regain strength, stability and hope, and by advocating for the unique needs of this population.
Outside of work, Hermie enjoys spending quality time with her family and staying active together, whether exploring new places, enjoying the outdoors or relaxing at home. She also makes time for reading and personal hobbies that help her recharge and maintain balance.
