Jamie Titen, DO, FACP, CEDS
Dr. Jamie Titen, DO, FACP, CEDS is the Medical Director at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition. She brings a strong foundation in nutrition and internal medicine to her practice, integrating her expertise in food science and human nutrition with comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Dr. Titen earned her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition, Dietetics from the University of Florida and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago NorthShore. Prior to joining ACUTE in 2026, she worked as an Internal Medical Physician at Eating Recovery Center in Denver, CO.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Titen has also conducted research in patients with eating disorders, including Off Label Donepezil Use for Compulsive Movement in Eating Disorders, and regularly delivers educational presentations on medical complications related to eating disorder care.
Dr. Titen is a member of the American College of Physicians and was appointed to the faculty of the American College of Physicians in 2025. She also received the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professions (iaedp™) in 2026. She has received multiple patient care and teaching awards throughout her medical career and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through collaboration and continued learning.
Outside of work, Dr. Titen enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling and practicing yoga. She especially values spending time outdoors with her family and embracing all that Colorado has to offer.
