Katharine Lee-Kramer, LSW
Katharine Lee-Kramer, LSW, is a Clinical Social Worker at ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition. She collaborates with patients, loved ones and the multidisciplinary treatment team to help create individualized discharge plans and support lasting recovery from severe eating disorders.
Katharine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining ACUTE, she worked with Denver Health's Access Transformative Outreach Program (ATOP), providing behavioral health services for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and severe mental illness. Earlier in her career, she worked with the Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA), supporting development and marketing initiatives, and completed clinical internships in behavioral health and residential substance use treatment.
Beyond her clinical work, Katharine is actively involved in the eating disorder community. She serves on the Clinical Committee for Project HEAL and is a board member for both Project HEAL and Spark Hope, organizations dedicated to expanding access to mental health treatment, education and recovery support.
Katharine is passionate about helping patients and families feel informed, supported and empowered during a critical stage of treatment. She enjoys collaborating with patients, loved ones and the interdisciplinary team to build a strong foundation for lasting recovery and believes that full recovery is possible for every individual.
Outside of work, Katharine enjoys playing and watching soccer, exploring Colorado with her two dogs, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
