Marisa Hassani, RD, is a Registered Dietitian at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition, supporting patients through evidence-based nutritional care during medical stabilization.

Marisa Hassani, RD, is a Registered Dietitian at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition, where she has been part of the clinical nutrition team since 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University of Denver and brings a patient-centered approach to supporting individuals through nutritional rehabilitation.

Marisa values the role nutrition plays in both medical recovery and quality of life, and she is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care to patients during a critical phase of treatment.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, trying new recipes and hosting friends and family for meals.

ACUTE Earns Prestigious Center of Excellence Designation from Anthem
In 2018, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition at Denver Health was honored by Anthem Health as a Center of Excellence for Medical Treatment of Severe and Extreme Eating Disorders. ACUTE is the first medical unit ever to achieve this designation in the field of eating disorders. It comes after a rigorous review process.
