Taylor Mannix, PT, DPT, CSCS
Taylor Mannix, PT, DPT, CSCS, has been a physical therapist at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition since October 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University in Maryland and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in Florida. Taylor is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), trained in Polestar Pilates and holds a Functional Dry Needling certification from Evidence in Motion/Kinetacore, reflecting her commitment to advanced rehabilitation techniques.
Taylor values ACUTE’s collaborative and interdisciplinary approach, which allows all providers to function autonomously while contributing their expertise to a team-focused environment. She values the individualized care model, tailoring therapy to meet the unique physical and mental health needs of each patient. She also appreciates the supportive culture among colleagues, where teamwork and compassion extend beyond the unit, creating a sense of family while maintaining the highest standards of care for patients.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys exploring the outdoors, whether hiking, skiing, backpacking or camping in the mountains. She loves traveling to new cities, experiencing different cultures and trying local restaurants. She also values time with friends and family, attending live music events, staying active and curling up with a good book
