Tom Carron is an Admissions Specialist at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Malnutrition with more than eight years of experience supporting individuals with eating disorders in inpatient settings. He brings a strong background in psychology, care coordination, and patient advocacy, helping patients and families access critical care during pivotal moments in treatment.

Tom Carron is an Admissions Specialist at ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Malnutrition, where he helps patients and families navigate the process of accessing lifesaving care. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and brings more than eight years of experience working with individuals with eating disorders across inpatient settings.

Tom began his career as a behavioral health technician before advancing into case management, where he developed a strong foundation in care coordination and creative problem-solving. He is driven by the opportunity to support patients at a critical and often overwhelming point in their recovery journey. Tom values working alongside ACUTE’s multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive timely, compassionate and comprehensive care.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time in his garden growing flowers and vegetables. He also loves hiking and mountain biking throughout Colorado’s wilderness areas, and during the winter months, he can often be found snowboarding or enjoying a book.

ACUTE Earns Prestigious Center of Excellence Designation from Anthem
In 2018, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition at Denver Health was honored by Anthem Health as a Center of Excellence for Medical Treatment of Severe and Extreme Eating Disorders. ACUTE is the first medical unit ever to achieve this designation in the field of eating disorders. It comes after a rigorous review process.
