Zoe Filan, MS, RD
Zoe Filan, MS, RD, has been a clinical dietitian at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition since 2023. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Dietetics from The University of Vermont, School of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Zoe is an active member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp™) and is currently pursuing her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) designation.
Zoe’s clinical and research interests focus on nutritional recovery in eating disorders. She co-authored Loss of Bone Density in Patients with Anorexia Nervosa That Food Alone Will Not Cure. She has also contributed to ACUTE’s Adolescent Protocol Committee, supporting the development of best practices in care.
What drives Zoe most is working alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, compassionate care. She finds deep satisfaction in witnessing patients’ progress and recovery during their stay, which motivates her to continually grow as a clinician. Her goal is always to provide the best care possible and help patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys spending time outdoors with loved ones and her dog, Luna. She also loves cooking and baking, especially using produce from her garden.
