A Year in Review 2021 at ACUTE

The ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition has done so much this year. It can be hard to keep track of it all. We recognize that 2021 was a sequel to previous, already difficult year. Despite this, we continued to deliver high quality care for patients with the highest medical need. From updating our website to our staff publishing over 30 articles of new research, here is a summary of what ACUTE has done the past year. We can’t wait to continue serving our patients and community in 2022.

ACUTE Earns Prestigious Center of Excellence Designation from Anthem
In 2018, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition at Denver Health was honored by Anthem Health as a Center of Excellence for Medical Treatment of Severe and Extreme Eating Disorders. ACUTE is the first medical unit ever to achieve this designation in the field of eating disorders. It comes after a rigorous review process.
