Meghan Foley, RD, CEDS-C
Meghan Foley, RD, CEDS-C, serves as the Director of Clinical Nutrition Services at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Penn State University and completed her dietetic internship through the VA/MD WIC Program. Meghan is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp™), reflecting her commitment to specialized, evidence-based nutrition care.
Meghan has been a registered dietitian at ACUTE since 2011, and over her career has held roles including Clinical Nutrition Manager and Clinical Nutrition Supervisor. She has contributed to the field through publications such as A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Managing End-Stage Renal Disease in Anorexia Nervosa: A Case Report and Small Feedings and Current Nutrition Practices in Anorexia Nervosa, highlighting her expertise in nutrition support and refeeding protocols. Prior to ACUTE, Meghan gained experience treating malnutrition in a general hospital setting.
At ACUTE, Meghan enjoys using the full spectrum of her dietetic skills, including medical nutrition therapy, nutrition support and motivational interviewing, to treat patients as whole individuals. She values building meaningful relationships with patients, collaborating with a smart and compassionate multidisciplinary team and learning from colleagues across disciplines.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys traveling to explore new cultures, food and landscapes, and spending time with her husband snowboarding, hiking and connecting with friends and family.
